So last night was my Senior Homecoming… I can’t believe that was my last one. It is bitter sweet to think about it that way, and it was so much fun that I wish I could go back!
One of my favorite things about Homecoming is the whole process of it. I love the excitement of looking for the perfect dress, figuring out what shoes would match that dress, and searching pinterest to determine how you will do your hair and makeup. Even though Homecoming is just a little dance and fun night out with friends (or date, but you don’t need a date to have a good time) , it ends up being way more than that. You will remember stuff like this for the rest of your life, so might as well go all out for it right?
The most important part about finding the perfect dress is making sure that it is one that you feel the most confident in. Wear something that makes you feel completely happy with yourself and your body. The dress that I wore is what made me feel that way; I have come to realize that you really don’t need a super puffy, sparkly dress to feel confident and pretty. Honestly in my opinion, the classier the better. Plus a classy dress can easily be re-worn for a special occasion or holiday!!
