Hello everyone! The countdown for Christmas is on! Santa’s coming in 10 days!!!!!
This season is the best time of the year. Full of friends, family, presents, music and of course hot chocolate and candy canes! This year my goal for the season was to do at least three things.
- Go ice skating (even though I am terrible, but it is still fun)
- Go sledding
- Look at Christmas lights
This past weekend I knocked out all three of these things in a matter of hours!! ( Even though I went “sledding” on fake snow- Arizona problems.) Although, I was not fortunate enough to have a “White Christmas” experience, I still had so much fun. The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess holds this event every year for the holiday season, and I am pretty sure it happens every night! If you live in Arizona, and have not had a chance to go to this, you have to. It is amazing the amount of activities they have, family friendly and adult friendly! I was lucky enough to stay in the hotel that night, but you do not have to stay in the hotel to do all of the activities. They have festive light shows, a train, a Ferris wheel, sledding, ice skating, Santa, and even a little area to write your letters to Santa. It is so festive and so cute; my family and I had an absolute blast!
I was able to sneak in a few pictures of my outfit before the sun went down. This jacket was perfect for the cold weather, and the sweater left me nice and cozy. It is a simple, comfy, and cute outfit. Perfect for an event like this, or even just a regular week day!
