As some of you may have noticed from my recent instagram posts, I just went on a trip to Paris! I am going to start out by saying I am in love with the city of love. I have never been in love before, but if this is what love is than goodbye America, I am staying in Paris! Haha just kidding… well maybe. Anyways, I decided that for this trip I am going to do a series of posts very similar to what I did for the British Virgin Islands (click either the Summer, Pool/Beach Day, or Vacation tab to see those). Only, I promise that these posts will be a bit more fashion based. I mean, it’s Paris, you have to look cute! So if you plan to travel to Paris and need a few outfit ideas, you are in the right place! Now let’s begin with the first post shall we…
Now, you are probably all wondering how or why I traveled to Paris right? Well, lets just start out with the obvious, I am extremely blessed. Blessed with the best family that is willing to go above and beyond to make sure that I am happy and have a good life, and also award me for my hard work and accomplishments. In honor of my high school graduation, my grandparents decided that they wanted to take me on a trip. About a year ago, my grandparents (Grandpa George and Granny Kim) asked me to write down the top five places that I would love to visit, anywhere in the world. Of course, the first place I thought of was Paris. I have been wanting to see this beautiful city ever since I was a little girl. Sure enough, my grandparents emailed me an intinerary for our trip to Paris! You can imagine how excited I was, I literally jumped up and down and screamed like a crazy person.
So sadly, at the moment I am on an airplane heading back to the United States, reminiscing on my time in the city of love. In the beginning I landed in Paris on Sunday around 10 am. Paris is 9 hours ahead of Arizona time so I definitely had a bit of jet lag, however, I worked through that because I mean, when in Paris right?! That morning was a bit on the colder side. It was rainy and foggy in the city, which means my maxi dress wasn’t going to cut it. So when I made it to the hotel I threw on a pair of grey jeans, a cute white top, a pretty blue neck tie, and grabbed a jacket for the outdoor walk. We walked from our hotel to the Musée d’Orsay. This museum is inside an old train station, with large clocks hanging a long the huge walls. The museum was full of beautiful art and sculptures. Let’s just say, Parisians really like nudity. Almost every sculpture was of a naked man or women, God or Goddess. The museum was amazing, but we all needed a coffee break so we stopped at one of the many cute cafés on a corner of Paris, and grabbed a Cappuccino.
This was just day one, I will be blogging about every day of Paris as the time goes on, and adding pictures that I took on my adventures. In this post I will show various pictures from my walk through Paris on the first day in the unexpected, but beautiful weather. The streets of Paris are very different from anything I have ever seen. Everything around you is at least over 100 years old. It is completely different than what I am used to, living in a pretty modern area of the United States, but I absolutely love it.
Hey! Would you mind if I share your blog with my facebook group? There’s a lot of people that I think would really appreciate your content. Please let me know. Thanks
Yes of course!
