With the weekend being almost over, you all need something to look forward to other than long hours of work or school right?! How about a new outfit? Even better… how about an outfit from Lizard Thicket? I honestly don’t think anyone could say no to that!
Lizard Thicket is one of my favorite stores ever, if you know me, you know that my closet is like a mini Lizard Thicket store lol! This is why I am so excited to announce that I am officially a Lizard Thicket Ambassador! I will be posting many outfits, each with every single item from the store. Luckily for me, I live in Arizona so I am close to a Lizard Thicket, however, this store is not in every state. If you do not live in Arizona and do not have a Lizard Thicket near you, make sure to check out their website for cute clothes! As for those who live near Mesa, Arizona, you are in luck! If you decide that you really want any of the items that I am wearing in these pictures, screenshot the picture and send it in to this number: 602-501-3354. Let them know what item it is that you want, it doesn’t matter if it is just the shoes or the whole outfit, they can check to see if they still have it in the store, and if so they will automatically put it on hold for you! This is ideal because the boutique only keeps SIX of each piece in the store, no more!! (They do not even order more!) So if you see something you like and you think “Oh I could use that for my interview this week!” or “I could wear that for date night on Friday!” you are definitely not going to want to order it online. Just screenshot it and send it to that number, then later go pick it up from Lizard Thicket at Dana Park in Mesa. (Val Vista and Baseline) It’s that easy!
This outfit is definitely one of my favorites. I will have to admit, the kimono originally did not catch my eye. I was iffy about it because I wasn’t crazy about the color; I was not sure how good it would look on! Yet I am a firm believer in trying on things that seem out of your comfort zone, because believe it or not, a lot of times you will end up falling in love with it! That is exactly what I did; the kimono ended up being my favorite piece from the whole shoot! Plus, the colors are perfect for the transition into fall. Yes, I know it is August and it’s still summer. However, this outfit is light weight enough to wear in the summer, but the kimono, shirt, and even shoes are perfect for that cooler fall weather! All you have to do is trade out the shorts for a pair of jeans!
Last but not least, I just have to gush about the bralettes from Lizard Thicket; they are honestly my go-to. They have all sorts of colors and styles, plus the Dana Park location just got a ton in so make sure to check them out! We all know that bralettes are the new “In thing” but have you ever thought about wearing two?! Yes, I mean doubling up! I find that layering bralettes is adorable! In this outfit, I am wearing two: a black one and a creamy yellow one. I really do think that this style helps make the outfit! Trust me, it is going to become a trend, just wait…
